Overview#A Registration Authority (RA) is an Authoritative Entity within the Public Key Infrastructure that verifies requests for a digital Certificate and tells the Certificate Authority (CA) to issue it.
The Registration Authority is responsible for assurance that the Requesting Party is the owner of the entity that the certificate is to be used to represent.
