Time Sync#

The Time sync is an EDirectory Background Processes.

Although Time Sync is not an eDirectory process, Why is Time Important is typically handled by the underlying OS.

The underlying time sync mechanism is not important as long as the eDirectory servers are, in fact, synchronized. However, with OES Linux, time synchronization is normally achieved with the NTP daemon.

Many people use NTP however, we have been using SNTP to maintain Time sync.
