XDAS Severity represents how severe the logging event.

Proper Severity settings distinguishes how the logging event is handled.

XDAS Severity Levels:

1log-emergencyEvents that cause the System to Fail.
2log-alertEvents that require immediate attention.
3log-criticalEvents that can cause parts of the system to malfunction.
4log-errorEvents describing errors that can be handled System,, but could require Administration.
5log-warningNegative events not representing a problem.
6log-noticeEvents (positive or negative) that an administrator can use to understand or improve use and operation.
7log-informationalPositive events of any importance.
8log-debugEvents of relevance for support or engineers to debug the operation of system.
