Add-Association Events are when the driver add an [association|Description of Attribute Usage For 2.16.840.1.113719.1.14.4.1.4] to the entry in [EDirectory] that is a pointer to the entry in the [Connected Application].
The "pointer" is added to the [DirXML-Associations|DirXML-Associations] Attribute of the entry.
!! On A Merge
There should not be an [{$pagename}] in the case of a merge.
When the engine finds a match and sets the association directly on the object in the
IDV, then triggers the merge process to reconcile any differences. This is the correct and expected behavior.
