[{$pagename}] within [X.509] [Certificates] is often referred to as [commonName] and is a [SINGLE-VALUE] [Distinguished Name] field and can also have multiple names in the [Subject Alternative Name] extension. The [{$pagename}] [Distinguished Name] is made of multiple [Relative Distinguished Names] ([RDNs]) which are all made of attribute [Assertion Value] Values) such as "CN=yourname" or "O=yourorganization".
