An LDAP false filter is a special type of [OR search filter|Definition -- OR Search Filter|OR SearchFilter] that does not contain any embedded filter components. It is called an "LDAP false filter" because it always evaluates to "false" and will never match any entry.
The string representation for an LDAP true filter is "{{(|)}}". LDAP false filters are described in [RFC 4526|https://opends.dev.java.net/public/standards/rfc4526.txt].
