An extensible match index is a type of [LDAP Indexes] that is used to help accelerate [search Responses] using an [extensible match filter|extensibleMatch].
Index keys are values that have been [normalized|Definition -- Normalized Value] using a specified [matchingRule], and the corresponding [ID list|Definition -- ID List] contains the [entry IDs|Definition -- Entry ID] for all entries that match the value according to that matching rule.
