!!! Overview
[{$pagename}] is a subordinate [certificate] issued by the [Root Certificate] specifically to issue end-entity [Site Certificates].
The result is a [Certificate Chain] that begins at the [Root Certificate], through one or more [{$pagename}] and ending with the [Site Certificate] issued.
Creating certificates directly from the [Root Certificate] increases the risk of [Root Certificate] [Unfortunate event], and if the [Root Certificate] is compromised, the entire trust infrastructure built by the SSL provider will fail. The usage of [{$pagename}] for issuing [certificates] to end [entities|Entity], therefore, provides an added level of security.
You must install the [{$pagename}] in your Web server along with your issued [certificate] to complete the [Certificate Chain] and allow the [certificate] to be effectively be a [Trusted Certificate].
