[{$pagename}] is the Executive Director of the [OpenLDAP] Foundation and an Advisor to the [OpenLDAP] Project. He founded both in the summer in 1998.
[{$pagename}] served as Chief Architect of the [OpenLDAP] Project from its inception to January 2007.
[{$pagename}] is currently a Development Engineer at [Isode Limited] developing Internet technology and standards, especially in the Directory, Messaging, and Security areas.
Aside from Kurt's obvious interest in directory technologies, he is interested in Internet security services, especially as used to secure application-level protocols.
[{$pagename}] currently working in the [Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol] space.
[{$pagename}] is a participant in the Internet Engineering Task Force ([IETF]). He serves on the [LDAP] Directorate, Security Directorate, and Applications Area Directorate. He is authoring and/or editing a number of [Internet Drafts]. A few of his drafts have become [RFCs]. He has served as co-chair of [LDAPbis], [SASL], and vCardDav working groups.
