The "Password Life Time" section within [imanager] under the [Password Policy] allows you to [{$pagename}] as shown below:

!! Number of days before password can be changed (0-365)
The "Number of days before password can be changed" option restricts the user from changing their [Universal Password] before the specified time has elapsed. For [example], if this value is set to 30, a user must keep the same password for 30 days before he or she can change it.
!! Number of days before password expires (0-365)
"Number of days before password expires" causes a user’s [password] to expire after a specified time has elapsed. For [example], if this value is set to 90, a user's password expires 90 days after it has been set.
If you enable [Grace Logins], the user can log in with the expired [password] the specified number of times. Also, if you have not selected the Limit Grace Logins option, unlimited grace logins are allowed.

You [MUST] set the [Limit the number of grace logins allowed|LoginGraceLimit] to some value to make the [Number of days before password expires|PasswordExpirationTime] to prevent users from logging in after the password expires.

A value of "0" will not allow any [Grace Logins].

Limit the number of [Grace Logins] allowed indicates that when the [password] expires, the number of [Grace Logins] indicates how many times a user is allowed to login to [eDirectory] by using the [expired password|Password Expiration].
