A smart referral is a special type of [LDAP Entry] that can be placed in the [DIT] that reference content in another server and/or location of the DIT. Smart referral entries contain the {{referral}} object class with one or more instances of the {{ref}} attribute containing [LDAP URLs] that should be used in the [LDAP Referral].
