Overview#
We were on a special project and this was documentation on How To create the LDAP Build Directory for the build process.Decompress the base package for edirectory for each of the platforms that are desired. This will create the following directories
/hostOS /ConsoleOne /nmas /NmasMethods /license /patches /dsrepairRemove the following directories and sub-directories
/hostOS/ConsoleOne /patches/dsrepair
Create the following:
/prod /prod/nici/ /prod/nici/Linux /prod/nici/Solaris /upgrade /upgrade/nici/ /upgrade/nici/Linux /upgrade/nici/Solaris
You should now have the following directory structure:
/Linux /[Directory-Info.com] /idm20 /license /ndslibs /nmas /prod/nici/ /prod/nici/Linux /prod/nici/Solaris /upgrade/nici/ /upgrade/nici/Linux /upgrade/nici/SolarisCopy the currently deployed production patches patches as follows:
/prod /edir8734_slh - Created by decompressing the latest eDirectory patch /edir8734_slh/edircore - Remove all the directories but for the HostOS desired. (Solaris&Linux) /nici - Create this directory /nici/Linux - Create this directory. Place the uncompressed NICI RPM in this direcotory. /nici/Solaris - Create this directory. Place the uncompressed NICI package in this direcotory.
Copy the current patches to be deployed as follows:
/upgrade (Create) /edir8736_slh - Created by decompressing the latest eDirectory patch /edir8736_slh/edircore - Remove all the directories but for the HostOS desired. (Solaris&Linux) /nici - Create this directory /nici/Linux - Create this directory. Place the uncompressed NICI RPM in this direcotory. /nici/Solaris - Create this directory. Place the uncompressed NICI package in this direcotory.
