NIST.SP.800-63A this National Institute of Standards and Technology on Identity Proofing & Enrollment guideline deals with how an individual, known as an applicant, can prove their identity to a Credential Service Provider (CSP) and become enrolled as a valid identity.NIST.SP.800-63A describes a new Identity Assurance Level (IAL) which replaces the previous M-04-04 Level of Assurance (LOA)
