Roaming Authenticator


Roaming Authenticator is a Web Authentication API WebAuthN Authenticator which is an Implementation of the WebAuthn Authenticator Model and is typically a Security Key that can connect to multiple WebAuthn Client Device, and interaction MUST be negotiated over a supported transport protocol.

Roaming Authenticators may be:

Roaming Authenticator may support CTAP1, CTAP2, or both protocols.

Examples of Roaming Authenticators might include USB security keys, BLE-enabled Mobile Device applications, or NFC-enabled proximity cards.
