n a landmark 2018 decision, the United States Supreme Court ruled that the United States Constitution Amendment IV protects cellphone location information. As a result, police are required to obtain a warrant before obtaining location data.
This is obviously Government Surveillance and Government abuse.
According to sources, DHS including United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (ICE) United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) purchased location data as far back as 2017 from a small Virginia based company called Venntel Inc. and Gravy Analytics which are Data aggregators.
