Overview#
ARPC or Authorization Response Cryptogram is a Ciphertext used for a process called Online Authorization.The ARPC is the result of the Authorization Request Cryptogram and the Card Issuer’s Authorization Response Cryptogram encrypted by a DES key.
The ARPC is sent to the card in the authorization response. The card validates the ARPC to ensure that it is communicating with the valid Card Issuer.
