Overview#

Abbreviated Language For Authorization (ALFA) is a maps directly into XACML.

Axiomatics announced March 2014 donated ALFA to the OASIS XACML Technical Committee in order to advance its standardization. Abbreviated Language For Authorization renamed Abbreviated Language for Authorization.

Abbreviated Language For Authorization maps directly into XACML and contains the same structural elements as XACML i.e. PolicySet, Policy, and Rule.
