Overview#

Access Control Model-Microsoft Windows is the Access Control Model used within Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Active Directory.

Access Control Model-Microsoft Windows has two basic parts of the Access Control Model:

• MSFT Access Token - contain information about a logged-on user
• Security Descriptors - contain the security information that protects a Target Resource (Microsoft calls this a securable object)
