Overview#

Access to Account (XS2A) is the process in which a Payment Service User (Account owner) is provided access to their Account

Access to Account is often mentioned in regards to PSD2 which allows for Merchant is permitted to the perform a Payment Transaction directly with the Payment Card Issuer by-passing the Acquirer (a Payment Service Provider) and the Payment Network.
