Assertion Parameter is a REQUIRED OAuth Parameters Registry entry in the Assertion Framework for OAuth 2.0 Client Authentication and Authorization Grant to indicate the assertion being used as an Authorization Grant.

Specific serialization of the assertion is defined by profile documents.
