Overview#
Backlog is, in Agile, a prioritized list of User Stories that is accepted to be taken to a Definition of Done.A ranked list of briefly-described feature requests. Ideally, these "feature requests" should be broken down into user stories.
Backlog may be broken out into groups of backlogs such as:
- Product Backlog (Also know as a Product Backlog
- Sprint Backlog (or Iteration Backlog)
Some folks use additional Backlogs:
- planned Backlog - for user Stories assigned by Scrum Master
- unplanned Backlog - for user Stories NOT assigned by Scrum Master
