Bind Authentication Method is the Authentication Method for LDAPBind Authentication Method is "officially" defined in the IANA Registry Bind Authentication Method
We find it a bit ironic as they show simple as "LIMITED USE" when in the real world it is by far the most used Bind Authentication Method excepting perhaps Windows Client's which may use SASL Mechanism of SPNEGO.
