Overview#

Broadcast Control CHannel (BCCH) is a logical broadcast channel used by the Base Transceiver Station (BTS) in a Mobile Network to send information about the identity of the network which includes the Mobile Network Code (MNC), the Location Area Code (LAC) and a list of Absolute Radio-Frequency Channel Numbers (ARFCNs) used by the neighbouring Base Transceiver Stations.
