Overview#
Building Automation is is the automatic centralized control of a building's HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning)
, electrical, lighting , shading, Access Control, Security Systems , and other interrelated systems.
Building Automation typically uses a Gateway which is often, erroneously referred to as a "hub", to translate the Building Automation protocol(s) to a common used Communication Network Protocol which is often TCP-IP for Client access to a User Interface.
