Cancelable Biometrics refers to the intentional and systematically repeatable distortion of Biometric data in order to protect sensitive user-specific data.Cancelable Biometrics is a Revocation model that describes when a cancelable feature is compromised, the distortion characteristics are changed, and the same Biometric data is mapped to a new template, which is used subsequently.
Cancelable Biometrics is doen by some vendors using a Salt for distortion.
