Overview#

Certificate Management over CMS or (CMC), is an internet standard by the IETF and defined in RFC 5272, defining transport mechanisms for the Cryptographic Message Syntax (CMS).

Certificate Management over CMS uses transport mechanisms in RFC 5273.

Certificate Management over CMS utilizes the Certificate Request Message Format (CRMF), described in RFC 4211
