Overview#

Compromised Certificate is when a Certificate is compromised. This may happen when the Certificate Authority or the Registration Authority did not properly verify the Entity requesting the certificate.

When discovered the Registration Authority should add the Compromised Certificate to the Online Certificate Status Protocol and Certificate Revocation List at the Certificate Authority
