Orchestria Corporation#

January 5, 2009, CA has announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire New York-based Orchestria Corporation, a leading provider of data loss prevention (DLP) technology which includes both data classification and access enforcement. will be an innovative addition to CA’s identity and access management suite.

IDFocus LLC#

October 7, 2008 - CA, Inc. (NASDAQ: CA) today announced it has acquired IDFocus LLC and its identity management technology, ACE™. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

"Identity management is essential to comprehensive IT security, and the integration of CA Identity Manager and ACE technology enables CA to deliver a robust and powerful identity management solution," said Dave Hansen, corporate senior vice president and general manager, CA Security Management. "This acquisition strengthens CA's ability to continually enhance critical elements of CA's Identity and Access Management suite, which helps our customers effectively manage employees' and partners' identity lifecycles and meet new compliance demands."

Eurekify #

November 13, 2008 – CA, Inc. (NASDAQ: CA) today announced it has signed a definitive agreement with Eurekify for CA to acquire Eurekify, a leading pioneer in identity and role management. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The combination of CA Identity Manager with Eurekify Enterprise Role Manager delivers a system which helps customers clean up existing identity data and build a role model with the best available information. This model serves as the foundation to automate the user provisioning process and enhances identity lifecycle management.

Netegrity#

October 6, 2004 -In a deal that could expand its identity and access management (IAM) portfolio, Computer Associates is buying software security developer Netegrity. In the functionality department, the Netegrity addition is seemingly a win for CA's eTrust Identity and Access Management (IAM) products, which protect enterprise networks from unauthorized entry.

Netegrity's flagship software -- user administration and access management applications built for Web services (TransactionMinder) and Web-based (IdentityMinder Web Edition) programs -- will be rolled into the eTrust group.

CA Single Sign-On, formerly known as Computer Associates SiteMinder, is one of the most established products in the WEB Access Management market. CA Single Sign-On offers comprehensive Web Access Management and Identity Federation capabilities. The product has a very large number of customers, being very mature. CA Single Sign-On delivers excellent platform support.[1]

Platinum#

CA acquired Platinum in 1999, which brought enterprise SSO and UNIX security solutions into the stable.
