Continuous Development (CD or Continuous Delivery) is an Agile Software development practice in which Delivery Teams produce Applications in short cycles (called Iteration and/or Sprints), ensuring that the Applications can be reliably released at any time.Continuous Development an approach in which Delivery Teams ensure that every change to the system is releasable, and that we can release any version at the push of a button.
Continuous Development aims to make releases boring, so we can deliver frequently and get fast feedback on what customers care about.
Continuous Development aims at building, testing, and releasing Applications faster and more frequently. The approach helps reduce the cost, time, and risk of delivering changes by allowing for more incremental updates to applications in production.
