National Security, but are none the less sensitive enough that they should be protected from improper access or exposure (e.g.,
FOUO information).
Due to over 100 designations in use by the U.S. government for unclassified information Controlled Unclassified Information would replace categories such as For Official Use Only (FOUO), Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) and Law Enforcement Sensitive (LES).
