The Rich Site Summary (or RSS) is a format pioneered by Netscape to describe the contents of a web page. It was later adopted for a multitude of applications (such as WebLogs and other news feeds). It was considerably enhanced by DaveWiner from [Userland Software|http://www.userland.com], and later on extended into an [RDF] version by the RSS-DEV working group. !Links * [RSS 1.0 specification|http://web.resource.org/rss/1.0/] * [RSS feed for JSPWiki|http://www.jspwiki.org/wiki/RSSFeedForJSPWiki] * [wikipedia|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS_(file_format)]
