Global Variable#
A global variable is a variable that gets its value from a Global Configuration Value (GCV) that is defined for the
driver or the
driverset.
This is one of the Novell IDM variables available to designers.
- DirXML-ConfigValues are by definition read-only during driver operations.
- DirXML-ConfigValues are essentially macro-substitution where upon driver start-up, the values are inserted within the DirXML-Driver code.
