DirXML event

Overview#

DirXML event is the report of a change in data at the channel input.

DirXML events occur both in the Identity Vault namespace and in the Connected Application. Examples of DirXML event include:

A DirXML event coming from the Identity Vault namespace sent over the Subscriber Channel is eventually turned into a DirXML command to be submitted to the DirXML Shim to cause some change in the Connected Application.

A DirXML event coming from the Connected Application sent over the Publisher Channel is eventually turned into a DirXML command to be submitted to the Identity Vault namespace to synchronize the change that occurred in the Connected Application.
