DirXML events occur both in the Identity Vault namespace and in the Connected Application. Examples of DirXML event include:
A DirXML event coming from the Identity Vault namespace sent over the Subscriber Channel is eventually turned into a DirXML command to be submitted to the DirXML Shim to cause some change in the Connected Application.
A DirXML event coming from the Connected Application sent over the Publisher Channel is eventually turned into a DirXML command to be submitted to the Identity Vault namespace to synchronize the change that occurred in the Connected Application.
