Overview#

Google Cloud Project is part of the Google Cloud Platform and is a container for:

• Google Cloud Project billing account
• Google Cloud Project resources
• Google Cloud Project permissions and Roles (GCP Project Owner is created set by default)

Google Cloud Project Identification #

Google Cloud Project are identified three ways:

• Friendly name - Use it to describe what your project is for
• project ID - is a string that must be unique in all the world.
• Project Unique number - is used in various places for identifying resources that belong to a specific Google Cloud Project.

Google Cloud Project Creation#

Google Cloud Project are usually created using the website Google Cloud Platform Console.

Google Cloud Project Creation may be performed via the Google Cloud Resource Manager API
