[LDAP] was co-developed by [Tim Howes] of the University of Michigan, [Steve Kille] of [Isode Limited], and [Wengyik Yeong|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wengyik_Yeong|target='_blank'] of Performance Systems International, in 1993.
