Overview#

Internetwork Packet Exchange (IPX) is Novell INC’s implementation of the Xerox Internet Datagram Protocol (IDP).[1]

Internetwork Packet Exchange is a connectionless datagram protocol that delivers packets across the Internet and provides NetWare workstations and file servers with addressing and internetworking routing services.
