IntruderAttemptResetInterval

Overview#

Designates the time frame in which to monitor consecutive failed login attempts (LoginIntruderAttempts).

If the number of LoginIntruderAttempts to log in exceeds the LoginIntruderLimit, the user’s account is locked to prevent further login attempts.

The IntruderAttemptResetInterval is the amount of time in which consecutive failed attempts (LoginIntruderAttempts) must fall.

For example, assume the IntruderAttemptResetInterval is 30 minutes and the LoginIntruderAttempts is 3 login attempts.

For LDAP clients to access this attribute, the LDAP server must be configured to map the attribute to a name without spaces or colons.
