Key Revocation in most Key Management systems Cryptographic Keys will require the ability to be replaced.

Key Revocation is of the "old" Cryptographic Key and the "new" Cryptographic Key follow the appropriate Key Generation process in a manner that is entirely independent of the value of the "old" Cryptographic Key
