[{$pagename}] is defined in [RFC 3672] as a type of [LDAP Entry] that contains the {{ldapSubEntry}} [objectClass].  

[{$pagename}] are meant to hold operational data for the server.  

[{$pagename}] are kind of like [OperationalAttribute] in that they are not returned to clients unless explicitly requested by including a Subentries Control request control.
