Overview#

LDAP_SERVER_DOWN indicates that the server appears to be down and is a LDAP Client Error And Result Code that indicates that the LDAP Client-side Software Development Kit cannot establish an initial connection with the LDAP server.

Normally this would be seen for one of the following:

Bad Hostname or Bad Port#

Often this is caused when either the LDAP server is down or the specified host name or port number is incorrect.

• When a TLS/SSL issue.
• DUA attempts to use Connection that was dropped.
