Overview#

LOST ENTRY implies eDirectory or NDS object being updated using an eDirectory or NDS EDirectory Background Processes has is not in the local DIB.

LOST ENTRY (-694 FFFFFD4A) Result Code can occur during the eDirectory or NDS replica synchronization process when the target server does not hold a copy of the object or when the object on the target server has its Reference Entry flag set.

Normally the EDirectory Synchronization process handles this condition by resending the lost entry.
