Overview#

Logging is simply the Gathering of data typically, in today's world, we place the data into a file or a database.

Logging requires an Observer and is generally considered the same as Recording

Logging provides no Actionable Intelligence and is only data.

Logging is valuable for usage in Metrics, Auditing, and Monitoring, but on its own, Logging provides no Actionable Intelligence and is only "Raw" data.

Logging may be a form of Surveillance
