MaxValRange[1] #
This value controls the number of values that are returned in the retrieval of multi-valued attributes of an entry.If an attribute has more than the number of values that are specified by the MaxValRange value, from LDAP, you must use LDAP_SERVER_RANGE_OPTION_OID "Control" to retrieve values that exceed the MaxValRange value.
MaxValueRange controls the number of values that are returned on a single attribute on a single object.

MaxValRange in Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 has a Hardcoded limit which override LDAP policy in Active Directory setting when the policy value should be higher.
