Overview#

There are several Mobile-Digital Wallets and we think they are important to watch due to the generally strong Authentication used. Some of them are:

• Apple Pay
• Google Wallet now Android Pay
• LoopPay
• Softcard now Samsung Pay
• Chase Pay

Mobile Wallet#

A Mobile Wallet or Mobile Payment is, I guess, anything you can carry. So a billfold qualifies. Many people will use this term to refer to any of the Mobile-Digital Wallets and is certainly a Mobile Payment system.

Digital Wallet#

Although these are often spoken about, we have never seen one.

I guess though they would be a Mobile Payment system.

All of the devices are devices that require you to carry something with you so they are not digital, as they have a concrete instance.
