NDS LDAP Monitoring To ensure that NDS and LDAP are up an operational on our servers, the following irems are implemented:

LDAPMonitor#

• LDAP Connections - The LDAPmonitor connects over LDAPs on a regular interval. If a LDAP connection fails, an alert is generated.
• Port Checking - The LDAPmonitor opens a TCP Connection to various ports on all servers to verify that the server is listening on these ports.
• Replica State - The LDAPmonitor connects over LDAP to each server and checks the "Replica-Status" of each replica on each server on a regular interval. If a the state is not "Running" an alert is generated.
