Overview#

Not Synchronized implies the Attribute or LDAP Entry is Not Synchronized to other members of the LDAP replication group.

We are unaware of any standard used to describe this functionality even though most LDAP Server Implementations have some method of providing support for the functionality.

LDAP Server Implementations Specifics#

• Microsoft Active Directory uses a System-Flags Attribute of "1" (0x00000001) which when present on an Attribute, the attribute will not be replicated.
• EDirectory uses the X-NDS_NEVER_SYNC
