Overview#

OAuth 2.0 Software Statement (an Internet Draft) defines a JWT authorization assertion JSON Web Token (JWT) Profile for OAuth 2.0 Client Authentication and Authorization Grants known as a 'software statement'.

OAuth 2.0 Software Statement is used by an OAuth Client to provide both informational and OAuth 2.0 protocol RFC 6749 related assertions that aid OAuth 2.0 infrastructure to both recognize client software and determine a client's expected requirements when accessing an OAuth 2.0 Protected Resource.
