Openid scope is an OAuth 2.0 OAuth Scope value to indicate this is an OpenID Connect Authentication Request and NOT an OAuth 2.0 Authorization Request

Openid scope is REQUIRED - Informs the Authorization Server that the Client is making an OpenID Connect Authentication Request. If the openid scope value is not present, the behavior is entirely unspecified however, it is typically accepted as a OAuth 2.0 Authorization Request
