Overview#
Payment Card Verification are methods used to verify the various Entities in a Payment Transaction.At the time of a Payment Transaction, the desire is concentrated on the two verifications:
- Card Verification Methods - Is the card valid?
- Cardholder Verification Methods - Is the entity presenting the Payment Card supposed to be using the card?
Other verifications of the Payment Network, Payment Processor and Merchant are tyipcally assumed to have been performed outside of the payment Transaction
