Overview#

Payment Initiation Service (PIS) is defined in PSD2 as means a service to initiate a Payment Transaction order at the request of the Payment Service User with respect to a payment account held at another Payment Service Provider.

Authorised Financial Organizations can service Payment Service Users (PSU) as Payment Initiation Service Providers (PISPs)”.
